Name: Lopunny
Alias: Willow
Age: fully evolved
Gender: female
Species: Pokemon
Date of Birth: first encountered September 28, 2006
Place of Birth: Sinnoh Region
Friends/Allies: none in this world
Enemies: none in this world
Physical Appearance: Lopunny stands four feet tall, give or take an inch or two, and is coated with a short, soft coat of chocolate-brown fur. Her powerfully muscled thighs and slim physique is reminiscent of the classic image of the "Playboy bunny", and she carries herself with a distinct, feminine charm. Bountiful puffs of cream-coloured fluff cover her feet, shins, and forelimbs, as well as extending from her forehead like eyebrows and decorating the tips of her massive ears. Her features are cute and dainty, with reddish-orange eyes and a small, pink nose.
Willow has a patch of discoloured fur under her left side, under her arm, as well as a scar on her left shoulder. She has two green ribbons tied into bows around the bases of her ears, though the left one is somewhat singed.
Personality: Lopunny tend to be good natured but shy and wary pokemon, always on the watch for threats and tending to their fellow Lopunny and pre-evolved form of Buneary.
Willow, less so. She's assertive, sociable, confident, and resourceful. She prefers to take challenges head-on, and can be quite adamant about accomplishing whatever she sets her mind to.
Willow is unsure whether to be flattered or horrified by what she has seen on the internet.
Special Abilities:
Limber: Willow's training has honed many of her natural talents. She has incredible muscle control and flexibility, and it is practically impossible for her to be subdued through paralyzing effects, notably chemical agents or electrocution.
Competitive Pokemon: Lopunnies are quite fast, quick to bound away from danger or try to shield themselves with the thick fur on their ears. Willow has spent years training and fought in countless battles. She is a powerful competitive pokemon with a good mind for battle. The strength in her legs, usually used to bound great distances or sprint at high speeds, allow her to deliver concrete-crushing kicks, and she has learned how to deliver powerful punches and strikes from using Technical Machines and visiting Tutors.
Normal Type: Willow is a normal type pokemon. She is unable to interact with ghostly forces and spiritual apparitions, but this means she is also immune to their effects. Normal type pokemon are known for their wide variety of moves and physical attacks, but are susceptible to trained Fighters or beings with a superior physicality.
Mega-Evolution: With access to a stone known as Lopunnite, Willow is able to become Mega-Lopunny. This form changes her appearance and greatly increases her physical abilities, including increased control and power in her strikes and the ability to land her attacks on ghostly or intangible enemies. This transformation does boost her power to a considerable degree, but it burns through that new power at an increased rate, and it takes considerable time for both Willow and her Lopunnite to build up the energy to use it again.
Favourite Moves:
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
Ice Punch
High Jump Kick
Double Kick
Defense Curl
Close Combat
Play Rough
Bounce
Drain Kiss
Swift
Healing Wish
Weaknesses:
Speaking: Willow cannot speak, unable to directly communicate with others. She usually only says "Lopunny! Lop! Lop!" or makes other vocalizations.
Klutz: Willow is very clumsy. She usually struggles to just hold onto most items, let alone use them correctly. Nine out of ten times she'd probably drop a smart phone rather than press one of the buttons on it, and she'd struggle to work with most man-made devices. The only thing she can keep in her grip is her Lopunnite, which she keeps tucked into her ribbons for safekeeping.
Weapons: None
Occupation: Prizefighter
Sexuality:oh no... Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single
Religion: Arceus-worship, Helix-worship
Politics: Willow's political views as explained by Willow
Likes: headpats, berries, home, that dancing cat animation
Dislikes: bitter medicine, unfamiliar places, lucky rabbits feet talismans
History:
Willow was bred in captivity, her parents having been left at a daycare by their trainer. While she was still a newborn buneary, she was gifted to a young girl named Eleanor. The two of them were instantly afraid, hiding from each other for days before Eleanor finally worked up the courage to approach her. On that day, she received a handful of diced fruit and her name; Willow.
Eleanor and Willow grew up together, practically family. They played together, they shared the same bed, they ate together. Whenever one of them was scared or sad, the other was instantly there to comfort them. When she was old enough, after much thought, Eleanor decided to become a pokemon trainer. She went with Willow, beginning the arduous journey to compete in the illustrious pokemon league.
The two went on many adventures, battling other trainers and wild pokemon alike. They roamed from town to town, their bond and the new friends they made along the way staving off homesickness and doubt, always there to encourage them to go just a little further, to push themselves just a little harder. Eventually, they made it to the pokemon league itself, Eleanor having grown into a confident young woman and Willow into a steadfast Lopunny.
That was when she met him. Massive, powerful, sneering, his tattered wings spread wide and his body lined with scratches and marks. Willow had been challenged in the past, she had fallen and gotten back up, she had pushed herself beyond all her past limits. Nothing challenged her quite like Charbroil the Charizard. The first time she thought she'd see Eleanor quit was when Charbroil's fangs sunk into her shoulder, when the searing flames left its mark on her side. She had gotten the last laugh, Charbroil cast down and unconscious, one of his horns broken off and still clutched in her paws, but Willow was left no better. She had been bedridden for over a day, and her recovery took days after that.
Eleanor had gotten far, she had beaten the Elite Four and went on to challenge the Champion. If she could, she would've waited for Willow to recover, but the league would not wait and the challenge had to be made while Willow was unable to fight. "It's okay." Eleanor had said to Willow, holding her in her arms.
"We can try again next year, we'll be ready then. We'll win."
But fate played a cruel hand, a fissure was torn in reality, a portal between worlds, and Eleanor was separated from Willow while the two were training for their next shot at the league. Willow found herself in a strange city, with no idea where her trainer, her family, had gone.
